This is your typical chinese place. I love that the food is ready in 10 minutes and hot and fresh when you pick it up. The flavors were on par with what you expect. The fried rice was bland but the steamed dumplings are delicious and the chow mai fun is wonderful.

Please avoid this place like the plague. I just ate some of my shrimp fried rice and the rice is undercooked. There weren't that many shrimp, so I called the place and told them and he said you only get 10 shrimp with a small shrimp fried rice. Are you kidding me? I am going to stick to what I know.

At first, this was the #1 place to go for Chinese in the area. After 2 years I keep on coming back giving them another chance and unfortunately I've been disappointed . Seems like my general tso chicken gets over cooked and old oil has been used. I'm not a cook but it seems like the quality has been awful lately. Very nice staff , that's why I gave the 3 stars.

Ordered takeout. Really disappointing The crab rangoons were soft and doughy. The general tso's chicken was super sugary and overly breaded. It was more like neon orange chicken/sweet and sour chicken. Most unenjoyable were the singapore noodles that were overly dressed and overcooked. Given the other good reviews, I may give it another try if I'm in the area.

This is a new restaurant in St John and it has only been open about two weeks (maybe less). I am a big fan of Chinese food, and have eaten food from there 5 times. All the items were different and delicious. This is the first time I have had General Tso's Chicken where it was crispy when eaten. The prices are good, and the $5.35 lunch is a winner! And I am going to eat there again today....

Cheap and not a bad deal, especially for lunch! I wish the food was spicier, but that is okay becuase it is a great value for the price. I really liked the experience.

Totally solid fast food chinese. Is it what you would get in Chinatown? No..but its reasonably priced and 5 minutes from my house. Loved the egg rolls (not greasy at all) and the sesame chicken was cut into smaller bite sized bits. Too often restaurants serve whopping pieces of chicken..these didn't need to be cut up.

The food here was okay to good - nothing outstanding. The crab rangoon hardly had any filling in it, and I would not get it again. The eggroll was okay - the best part was the shell; layers of light crispiness. I got the Saigon noodles which were flavored with curry, so not your usual Chinese fare, but good none the less. General Tso's chicken was also good, but not spicy enough; actually, not at all. Fried rice was okay; nothing to write home about. Perhaps I'll go back to try some of the other dishes. Perhaps.

For fast food Chinese, this is the best I've had anywhere. I've been to many fast food Chinese, and usually the food is very inconsistent, greasy, and just down right nasty. This turned out to be, surprisingly, REALLY good. I've been there 4 times now, and every time my food has been hot and delicious. I've tried something different each time I've gone, and ordered the fried rice instead of the white rice. IMO, the Pork Fried Rice was VERY good and recommended. What was also good was the egg rolls. I had both Pork and Shrimp. The pork has small chunks of BBQ pork. The shrimp may be a tad better than the pork, so if you love shrimp egg rolls, you probably will like these. A vegetable dish I had didn't skimp on the vegetables. Pea Pods were throughout the dish, and the water chestnuts were HUGE! Overall, I would recommend this restaurant. If you get there before 3 pm., they have nice combo meals for a good price that includes egg roll, entree, fried rice, and soup Oh..they now only accept credit cards if you spend over $10, so if you forget your cash, you can go next door to Walgreens and use the Chase ATM inside.

The food here is pretty comparable to any other neighborhood Chinese take out place. You will find a menu with familiar items and a good selection of lunch specials. Their chicken, egg rolls, and crab rangoon are all "a-ok", but their fried rice seems extra delicious somehow; it's always moist and has a good consistency to it. The consistent speed earns an extra star. I've regularly been told that enough food to feed 6 (and have leftovers) will be ready in 10 minutes, and have yet to be disappointed.

Why is it so difficult for Chinese restaurants in NWI to not have their meat taste like rubber? I find it sad and pathetic that Panda Express reigns supreme for Chinese cuisine in this area. We ordered egg rolls, crab rangoon, chicken with cashew, chicken w/ vegetables, and beef fried rice. All were bad. The meat is rubbery and the fried rice had zero flavor. I will say that the only reason this place receives two stars instead of one is because Mai Lee is by far the worst we've ever had and the one star is reserved exclusively for them. Will not be dining at this place again unless there is a zombie apocalypse.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
